In case you have not heard, Shaun McIntosh passed away the other night. Shaun was the first acountant (treasurer)on the first ever parents hockey association to come out of Texas Ice. He was a volunteer coach for a few years. He played a few seasons with the SAHL, OHL and I believe the Afterburners. He was almost always seen with a maroon and gold Minnesota sweatshirt on at the rink, and a smile.
I had the pleasure of knowing him not only in those capacities, but also has a friend. I coached his son Garry at the PW, BA and HS levels. I know he was close with his father and I am sure he is feeling the loss. As is his wife Pam, who also contributed to the hockey scene at Texas Ice.
My thoughts and prayers are with Pam and Garry at this time of loss.
