Puckit, The OHL is a Sunday night, "novice" league. The minimum age is 18. The Afterburners are a "B" level league that plays on Thursday nights. Not sure if they have a true minimum age... Real beginners are for the OHL, though there are some very good players skating on Sundays. Some play in both leagues. See www.theohl.com for more info. Later, Jeff

Matthew, Both leagues run tryouts of some sort before the season starts. Neither have what you would call practices, though the OHL is looking at something like that, probably more of a regular clinic. There are some regular pick-up games (called "drop-in"), particularly on Tuesday night at 10:00. There have been Wednesday and Friday versions of that, too. Watch the rink schedule at www.spacecityicestation.com for the latest. Come out tonight and watch the OHL games and meet some of the folks. I'm in the last game, so probably won't be there until late. See ya'! Jeff
